Jen and her husband, Lenny, own and operate Dancing Horse Farm, Inc. on their 40 acre farm in the historic town of Lebanon, Ohio, they purchased December 26, 2006. Jen has enjoyed great success in the dressage show arena earning multiple Regional, USDF Dressage Finals Championship titles, year-end awards, gold, silver and bronze medals and freestyle bars "with distinction" and the Diamond Achievement Award. But her true passion is actually not being in the show ring; instead, it's training and teaching her numerous students and their horses. This love of education is why she pursued, and achieved, the highest teaching/training accreditation USDF offers at the FEI level making her one of less than 10 trainers FEI certified by USDF. She has been a USDF Region 2 elected PM Delegate for many years.
Jen's Team Dream Training Center “TDTC” reflects her team approach to chasing dreams. Her lifetime of experience riding horses of many breeds and disciplines, degree in psychology, and dedication to her own continuing education is the foundation, but not the complete picture, of what TDTC offers. It is a comprehensive program for her students and their horses that focuses on the entire well-being of the horse through nutrition, veterinary care, saddle/bridle/bit fit, and an array of therapies to keep our equine athletes in top condition. She also brings in different physio experts to work with her students to address and improve on existing physical issues. Jen's team of "Dreamers" continuously benefit from her constant desire to advance her own education through collaboration with experts from around the globe.
Many years of hard work, rehabilitation, dedication, dreaming and love went into building what is now home to thriving businesses with multiple trainers, many students, both local and remote, and an environment of acceptance, support, and comradery.

Jen and Dreamy were named the 2022 Intermediare 1 Champions of the USDF Dressage Finals with a 72.8%. They were victorious again in 2023 winning the Intermediare 2 Championship.
Always looking for ways to improve the lives of people and horses, Jen and Lenny started a new company, Savvy Horse Products, in 2023 after they took over the Savvy Feeder "SF" company when the owner offered them the business with the goal of taking it to a broader market. SF's are the preeminent option for slow feeding hay to horses safely in a natural, head-down foraging position. Lenny actually converted one of their onsite barns into a Savvy Feeder manufacturing and distribution warehouse!
Press Release: Truett Takes the Reins of Savvy Feeder
Jen is an avid believer that slow feeding hay using Savvy Feeder, is a smart investment in horse’s health and happiness and can help save money on vet bills! Ensuring horses have access to hay over extended periods of time helps reduce the risk of GI issues like ulcers, and stall vices like weaving, stall walking, pawing, kicking, etc. that are damaging to the horse’s body. Using a Savvy Feeder can also reduce the risk of sand colic and development of enteroliths because the feeder keeps the hay contained, and off of sandy soil.
Jen and Lenny's goal for Savvy Horse Products is to bring unique products to the equine market that help horses live happier, healthier lives while saving their humans time and money along the way!
